Kia has revealed its first vehicle built on the automaker’s new platform dedicated to electric vehicles. The new Kia EV6 is an electric crossover equipped with 800V ultra-fast charging, a stylish design, and advanced technologies.
The Kia EV6 demonstrates the automaker’s new design philosophy of “Opposites United.” The signature aesthetic blends inspiration from humanity and natural elements, highlighting the contrasts between both. The athletic lines and sculptural look of the wing-type roof spoiler make way for a high-tech, comfortable, and contemporary interior.
Long-range, responsive powertrain
You have two options to power your EV6. You can choose between the 77.4 kWh long-range high-voltage battery pack and the 58.0 kWh, which delivers a standard range. With a single charge, you can travel approximately 316 miles when you equip the EV6 with the long-range battery. The standard battery pack overs a responsive performance, needing only 6.2 seconds to reach 62 miles per hour.
The Kia EV6 offers over 3,500 pounds of towing capacity when properly equipped. It needs a minimum charge of 35 percent to deliver this capability. With this capacity, you can easily haul road trip gear, equipment, or project materials.
The UVO system gets an upgrade and new name in the Kia EV6 — Kia Connect. The user-friendly infotainment system features a touch screen and stats on EV charging points and your vehicle.
